Addison Dodson Recognized as Alliance National Player of the Month for March<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"The Alliance Fastpitch<\/a> would like to recognize Addison Dodson as the National Player of the Month for March! This clutch player is<\/span> a member of the Oklahoma Angels \u201808 and is a member of the HFL<\/a>. Not only can she pitch the ball well, but she can hit it, too! Her batting average stands at a strong .510, and her OBP is a .546! You can also count on Dodson in big-time games, as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dodson’s favorite softball memory was hitting her first homerun; \u201cwe were playing in the semi-finals, and we were in ITB. I hit my first walk-off homerun,\u201d she stated. Addison<\/span> also states that she wouldn\u2019t be where she is now if it wasn\u2019t for her older sister, Lili. Dodson would watch Lili play growing up, and wanted to be just like her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Head coach, Lesley Martin, sees just how great Dodson is, on and off the field; \u201cAddison is an extremely hard worker.\u00a0 She is a huge asset in the lineup and holds her own on the mound as well.\u00a0 She is a great kid that is very coachable and gets along with all her teammates. She has a very bright future ahead.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Addison has a future that we can\u2019t wait to see! The Oklahoma Angels ’08 seem to have a special young woman on their hands who is going to be leaving her mark in the softball world in the years to come. Congratulations Addison and keep up the good work!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/b><\/p>\n

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League\u2019s Player of the Month.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Following the announcement of each League\u2019s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
