Softball Story (How did you get started? Tell us about you-

My older brother plays baseball, so we were always at the baseball fields. I could not wait to play softball so I could be better than him. I was 5yrs old when I signed up for softball at Baytown Girls Fastpitch. I was coached by Jonathan Wills and Wade Waltman (RIP). I made the Allstar team at the end of every season in league. I played both league ball and travel ball until I was 12yrs old. In the beginning of my last year of 12U, Texas Shock ended its run after 3 years. My heart was broken, I missed the girls and coach Cameron Pittman, but I know I have to keep moving. I joined the SETX Blaze in the Fall of 2021. Now my heart is back together. I found a new home. I am playing side by side with a new group of best friends. I am being coached by two most amazing humans. Coach Wiggins and Coach Ross. I’m super excited about what is ahead for me and my team.

What do you like to do outside of softball?

I love painting and drawing. I play volleyball, basketball and track for my middle school.

What are some of your current goals – both on and off the field? (Softball, school, other athletics, related, etc. all welcomed!)

I am in National Junior Honors Society now. I want to continue being in there throughout High School. That is my biggest goal right now, to be in National Honors Society in HS.

Coaches Feedback-

Jadah is a multi-sport athlete that excels in everything she sets her sights on.  (Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, and Track)  She is an elite corner infielder, and is an intimidating hitter when she steps in the box. She can hit for power, hit for average, and do the things necessary to help your team be successful on the defensive and offensive side of the ball.  As a person, you will not find a better one.  She is the best teammate on the field, in the dugout, and away from softball as well.  She is one of the best when it comes for examples of selfless athletes.  She is always looking out and checking on the well-being of others. Jadah is deserving of any and all honors that come her way.

We have many memories of Jadah, that include timely home runs and clutch defensive plays.  But the ones off the field are always funny to us as a team.  We will always remember the time she got herself stuck in a swing, barking at the pitchers, or being the one leading cheers in the dugout.

Jadah is the ideal athlete for our team.  She has a great family and the leadership that her parents have instilled in her certainly shines through.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.

To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
