Kynli Whitcomb Named HFL Player of the Month for March

The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Kynli Whitcomb (2028) from the Heart of American Fastpitch League (HFL) as Player of the Month for her remarkable play in March 2024. Kynli Whitcomb, a versatile player for Aces 14U NWA, excels in multiple positions—first base, third base, pitcher. Her March stats include a .250 batting average, a .333 OBP, 1 singles, 1 double, 1 RBI, and 1 stolen base. Through 7.2 innings pitched, she had 2 strikeouts and a 2.5 ERA.

Kynli Whitcomb’s softball journey commenced with the inspiration drawn from her older cousin, Hadley, whose passion and determination on the field ignited Kynli’s own love for the sport. Together, they spent countless hours practicing and playing, solidifying a bond that transcended mere family ties. Softball quickly evolved from a pastime to a passion, providing Kynli with a sense of belonging and invaluable life lessons in teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

A cherished memory for Kynli is winning her first tournament with the Crush Black team, culminating in a perfect game pitched by Kynli herself. The victory symbolized the culmination of hard work and dedication shared among teammates.

Kynli’s admiration extends to former Arkansas Razorbacks players Callie Turner and Sam Torres, who serve as mentors and guides in her softball journey. Beyond softball, Kynli finds joy in spending time with loved ones, attending games, and immersing herself in outdoor activities and literature.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
