Softball Story (How did you get started? Tell us about you-

I started playing softball when I was eight with Ridgefield Little League and then when I was ten, I went to go play club for Rampage. Ever since then I have been getting great coaching and am proud of how far I have come.

Favorite Softball memory-

My favorite softball memory was during my freshman year in high school season. We were playing in the third-place districts game against or league rival. Whoever lost this game would be done for the season. It was in the bottom of the 7th inning and we had our top 5 of the lineup up to bat. The first two get on, and a senior batting third hits a homerun! Next batter, homerun. Now me, the freshman was up to bat. I have to follow the best two seniors’ homeruns. First pitch, homerun! My first ever career homerun! I walked off districts as a freshman. The team was so excited and I loved every moment.

Who is your favorite softball player?*

Baylee Klingler! I met her when I was 12 at the All Star Games in Cleveland, Ohio and have been a fan since!

What do you like to do outside of softball?*

I play varsity volleyball at Ridgefield High School and hangout with friends. I also loving showing school spirit and respect by doing lots of community service and going to high school games to support my friends!

What are some of your current goals – both on and off the field? (Softball, school, other athletics, related, etc. all welcomed!)

For softball, my current goal is to play at the next and highest level while gaining softball and life iq. Off the field, my goals are to maintain a 4.0 GPA all through high school, get into a good school, and continue my career as a pediatric doctor.

Coaches Feedback-

Elizabeth is an outgoing young lady with the desire to play D1. She plans to major in Biology or Pre-Med with the hope of eventually becoming a doctor. She is a 4.0 student at Ridgefield High School, where she has been a starter on the varsity softball team since freshman year, and also plays volleyball at the varsity level. Elizabeth placed 3rd in the national MBL Pitch, Hit, & Run competition in 2019, and was the Seattle Mariners Regional Champion in 2019 and 2021. At school she is taking AP course, and is involved in the National Honor Society and Leos Club. Elizabeth volunteers some of her time with Ridgefield Little League and assists other young softball players with pitching and hitting. When she is not playing softball, Elizabeth enjoys spending time in Southern California, playing volleyball, hiking around the Pacific Northwest, travelling and just hanging out with friends and family.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.

To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
