The Alliance Fastpitch is excited to announce stage 1 of the Alliance Super Cup Series presented by Evoshield.

The Super Cup Series will be played in three events, represented by three different regions; Central, West and East. This first leg of the Super Cup Series will be hosted at Heritage Park and Russell Creek in Plano, TX October 23 – 24, followed by Lake Elsinore, CA November 6-7 and Clearwater, FL November 19-21.

Stage 1 consists of 48 teams in each age division; 14u, 16u and 18u. Teams will play a 6 Team Pool, 5 game Round Robin Saturday and Sunday. The top 4 finishers from each pool will advance to Stage 2. Additionally, every Pool Winner in each age division will earn a berth to the 2022 Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS).

Stage 2 will take place in two locations – Lake Elsinore, CA on January 7-9 and Clearwater, FL January 14-16. A total of 32 teams in each age division will compete in Stage 2. Each team will play two practice games on Friday and move into a 4-team double elimination bracket on Saturday and Sunday. The winner of each bracket will advance to the Super Cup Series Finals to be played in June.

The 3rd and final stage of the Super Cup Series will be held in Aurora, CO June 28-29 and will be hosted by Triple Crown Sports. Eight teams per age division will compete for the Super Cup Series Championship. Teams will play in a 4-team box bracket on Tuesday (2 Box Brackets per age division). Each bracket winner will play for the Championship on Wednesday evening.

Evoshield will serve as the title sponsor of the Alliance Super Cup Series and will have a major presence at each Cup location.

How do teams qualify for the Super Cup Series?

Teams secured their spots in the Super Cup Series based off of the 2020 Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS). The top 5 finishing teams from each league based on their tournament finish qualified for the Super Cup Series. This seeded a total of 30 teams from the 2020-2021 Leagues.

Five teams from The Alliance’s newest Leagues (NWFL and ACFL) have been invited to the Super Cup series. Each of those leagues identified the five teams that will represent their league. The next 8 invites went out to the next 8 teams based off of the final results of the AFCS that were not in the top 5 of their respective league.

Are any AFCS Berths awarded through the Super Cup Series?

8 AFCS berths in 14U/16U/18U will be awarded to the 8 Super Cup Pool Winners from Stage 1.
