Julianna Acevedo Named PCFL Player of the Month for December

The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Julianna Acevedo (2033) from the Pacific Coast Fastpitch League (PCFL) as Player of the Month for her remarkable play in December. Julianna, a versatile player for Batbusters Nelson, excels in multiple positions—outfielder, shortstop, and pitcher. Her December stats include a .500 batting average, a .556 OBP, 4 singles, 1 RBI, and 1 stolen base.

Julianna’s softball journey began with a love for the excitement and fun that the sport brings. She sees softball as not only a pathway to becoming a great athlete but also a way to form lasting connections with friends and family, both on and off the field.

A cherished softball memory for Julianna is mastering the art of slapping and delivering a powerful hit down the third-base line. This accomplishment stands as a testament to her dedication to improving her skills and mastering different aspects of the game.

Outside of softball, Julianna finds joy in beach outings and enjoying the waves.

Julianna’s current goals encompass both on and off the field. On the softball diamond, she aspires to make the Oklahoma softball team as a freshman, showcasing her ambition and determination. The Alliance Fastpitch commends Julianna Acevedo on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.

Julianna’s coach, Coach Nelson describes her as a great kid who has focus both on and off the field and a passionate leader. His favorite memory is a time when Juliana made an amazing diving play at shortstop to help keep the other team from winning the game.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
