(March 25, 2021) — The Alliance Fastpitch, the fastest growing youth sports league in fastpitch softball, has teamed up with Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), the world’s largest and most successful college athletic recruiting network.
The partnership will grant Alliance Fastpitch athletes access to recruiting education and guidance provided by NCSA. Alliance Fastpitch athletes ages 13 and older will have the option to create a free NCSA profile and gain access to free college recruiting resources, as well as NCSA’s robust network of college coaches. In addition, Alliance Fastpitch organizations and coaches will have access to NCSA
Team Edition at an exclusive discount, which allows coaches to track and guide their athletes’ recruitment with state-of-the-art, easy-to-use software.
“Our goal is to provide the most value and the best resources to our athletes, coaches, and parents in their youth sport journey,” said Alliance Fastpitch Executive Director Jami Lobpries. “NCSA has continued to be the leader in helping student-athletes on their pathway to college and we are excited to offer an incredible service and the support from NCSA to our members. It is important for us to partner with industry leaders like NCSA who put the athlete and her experience first.”
The Alliance Fastpitch is reshaping the landscape of club sports through defined pathways to Championships, purposeful play including a unified scoring system, and creating a united community amongst its softball membership off the field. Founded in the summer of 2020, the Alliance Fastpitch has quickly grown to 900 plus youth teams and over 11,000 members in six Member Leagues including the Pacific Coast Fastpitch League, Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League, Heart of America Fastpitch League, Texas Fastpitch League, Southeastern Fastpitch League and the Northeast Fastpitch League.
“The Alliance Fastpitch has seen steady growth over the last year and built a strong community of softball leagues and teams, despite challenges due to COVID-19,” said NCSA President Lisa Strasman. “We look forward to supporting their network and providing guidance to softball athletes who hope to compete at the next level.”
Founded in 2000 to help educate student-athletes and their families on the college athletic recruiting process, NCSA today works with families, club, high school and college coaches to helps hundreds of thousands of student-athletes find their best college fit.
