Tell us a bit about your softball story! How’d you get started in the sport?

I was about 6-7 years old when My Opa (grandfather)and my mom signed me up and the rest is history!

What has been your favorite softball memory?

It’s hard to pin point what my favorite memories are. I have been lucky to be on teams that have been able to go to different nationals to compete and win. Traveling with my teammates and family to different parts of the county is one of my favorite memories.

Who is your favorite softball player?

Austen Medina (Urness), Paige Siniki, Sav Adams

What do you like to do outside of softball?

Outside of softball you will generally still find me on a field. I enjoy soccer and flag football as well. I also like to hang out with my friends and teammates, Listen to music and ride my skate board.

What are some of your current goals – both on and off the field? (Softball, school, other athletics, related, etc. all welcomed!)

For my eight grade year is to maintain my 4.0 and being number 1 in my class. I want to continue to work hard on the field and master my craft. I know that I still have a lot of work to do and I am excited for it.

Coach Feedback

Tell us a bit about your athlete? As a player, person, etc.

Congrats to a great competitive athlete player that I have the privilege to coach. This kid is a hard worker to the core.

Do you have a favorite memory or moment of this athlete?

Trying to fight back off the ‘Tear of Failure” and trying not to let it show to everyone else. It was GREAT to see the effort, but as a coach could still see the pain on her face!

Is there anything else you’d like to share, include, or that we should know?

She’s a first year player for me and the Corona Angels and we are super pleased to have her apart of the family!

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
