Tell us a bit about your softball story! How’d you get started in the sport?

I grew up at the softball fields!! I started playing Rec ball when I was 5 years old with my older cousin. At the age of 7 I moved up to comp ball.  I played catcher every game for the first three years.  I loved playing catcher but wanted to try other positions. After playing the last year with Coach Gale I found my spot playing the corners and now know why I enjoy the game of softball. I’ve found a love of leading my teammates to success and having fun on the Ball fields.

What has been your favorite softball memory?

I have a lot of amazing memories on the softball field with my softball sisters. One memory that I will never forget is hitting my first over the fence homerun in 10u at 9 years old.

Who is your favorite softball player?

Jocelyn Alo

What do you like to do outside of softball?

Practice softball. Play Basketball, and volleyball. also teach my younger siblings all the different sports.

What are some of your current goals – both on and off the field? (Softball, school, other athletics, related, etc. all welcomed!)

I really focus on doing my best in school and getting good grades. My goal is to go to Nebraska, Oregon or UNC to play softball.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.

To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
