The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Bella Juarez (2028) from the Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League (RMFL) as Player of the Month for her remarkable play in April 2024. Bella Juarez, a versatile player for Firecrackers Gala 16U Gold, excels in the outfield.  Her April stats include a .556 batting average, a .619 OBP, 1 single, 1 double, and 5 home runs.

Bella Juarez’s softball journey begins when her parents sign her up for 8U softball. She has no clue what she is doing at first but quickly forms a strong bond with the sport. Bella finds her inspiration to play softball when UCLA wins the championship in 2019

One of Bella’s cherished softball memories is hitting two home runs in one game and hearing her teammate yell, “She’s in 8th grade!”

Her favorite player is Paige Halstead, but outside of softball, Bella enjoys hunting and playing other sports.

Bella’s current goals are to not let anything get her down on the field, recognizing that mistakes are inevitable, and to keep her grades up in school. The Alliance Fastpitch commends Bella on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.

Bella’s coach, Randy Gale, describes her as the youngest player on the team, though her maturity makes it hard to tell. Randy notes that Bella is an amazing teammate, always supporting and encouraging others, and providing immediate feedback based on what she observes during the game. She maintains a 3.87 GPA, showcasing her dedication as a student. Bella’s determination to excel is evident in her passion for hunting and her commitment to drive several hours to practices weekly from her home in Wyoming. Randy admires her wisdom beyond her years, her ability to learn quickly from mistakes, and her caring nature, traits that make her a great player as she continues to grow.

Randy’s favorite memory of Bella is when she hits her first home run. Bella sprints around the bases, not realizing she has hit the ball over the fence until Randy tells her to slow down and enjoy the moment. Another standout memory is from just two weeks ago when Bella catches a deep fly in left field and throws out a runner tagging from third base, changing the game and leading to a win for her team.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
