When my two daughters, ages 5 and 16, were pitching at the same time in the rec level and a showcase event. It’s amazing to see my 5 year old want to be like her big sister and her teammates.

Chris Silvaggi is Managing Partner and co-founder of Futures Fastpitch Softball and the Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League, headquartered in Colorado. Futures operates nearly 70 teams across multiple states under the brands of Prodigy Fastpitch and Batbusters. Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League is a member of The Alliance Fastpitch.

Prior, Silvaggi held numerous leadership positions over 24 years in the financial services industry and played baseball for many years. His coaching career was inspired by his eldest daughter’s interest in softball at age six. Based on his own experience, he believes the lessons learned on the field – teamwork, collaboration, and positive sportsmanship – are essential life skills. Silvaggi actively coaches and now has players competing at the highest level today.

Over the last 4 years, managing the Futures organization has become a big part of Silvaggi’s life. Chris has been called a “player’s coach”. He relates to each player individually and treats them with respect. He is passionate about developing the whole athlete, which includes; skills relevant for winning softball games, a competitive spirit and most importantly a positive self-image.
