About Seqnzr
SEQNZR is an incredibly easy-to-use advanced analytics app for the competitive softball coach.
This affordable analytics capability enables baseball and softball coaches ranging from Professional, to Collegiate, to the competitive youth coach to take a data-driven approach to strategy. SEQNZR created a similar algorithm to what most MLB teams use in-house and made it specific to the sport of softball at the competitive youth level. The algorithm combines detailed play-by-play data with user-input data on hitters and simulates 100,000 games in a matter of seconds, creating more data for use.
The data can be used for Lineup Optimization and in-game strategic decisions, such as when to bunt or steal. It’s the ultimate tool for taking a data-driven approach to offense, scores coaches an extra 0.3 runs per game, and helps players develop their Softball IQ by learning when to be aggressive on the basepaths.

How It Works
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I upload data?
Click “Stats“ > "Upload File" to upload your AthletesGoLive export, a GameChanger export, or our file template.
How can I combine data from multiple teams or seasons?
Create a separate team (i.e. Bombers 2020 Fall), upload data for that team, and then refresh current-season stats in another team (i.e. Bombers 2021). Select “Merge Teams” > Merge Bombers 2020 Fall into Bombers 2021 (just make sure players' names are spelled the same).
How big of a sample size do I need?
There's no magic number, but we recommend 50 plate appearances. A better question to ask is: Does the data I'm using line up with the production (OBP/SLG%) I think this hitter will have at the end of the season?
Why doesn’t it give me the best lineup?
We chose accuracy for a single simulation over approximations for many! Coaches can usually learn from the results and narrow in on optimal in a few of simulations.
What should I put for Speed?
This is Bill James's "Speed Score" metric, a number 0-10 with 10 being the fastest. It’s a weighted combination of Runs, Stolen Bases/Attempts, Triples, and double plays. The faster a runner, the more likely they will be to advance on the bases. No need to be perfect here!
Does it predict how many runs my team will score?
It’ll be close, on average! Although we don’t consider the opposing pitcher, we can tell you the most efficient sequence and relative run probabilities in different situations.
