Player Advisory Committee

The purpose of the PAC is to give a tangible, collective voice of the athlete. The Alliance Fastpitch prides itself as an organization that puts the athlete first. We created the PAC to serve as the national voice of the athlete. 

The PAC serves to:

• Provide an athlete voice on the programming of Alliance Fastpitch events
• Provide insights on youth athlete needs on and off the field throughout their player development journey
• Provide feedback on rules and policies that affect youth athletes
• Spark new ideas for Alliance Fastpitch athletes, events, and membership!
• Build a national community of youth athletes
• Empower our youth athletes to have a voice and impact change

A national committee of Alliance representatives will oversee the PAC. This national committee will provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to the PAC. The national committee will consist of Alliance Fastpitch Board of Directors, Staff, League Officials, and Coaches who are all former players themselves. 

The initial PAC Oversight Committee will be:

• Natasha Watley, Alliance Fastpitch Board of Director, Natasha Watley Foundation Founder
• Jill Higdon, Alliance Fastpitch Board of Director, SEFL Co-Commissioner, Owner of Connect Sports and Fury Platinum organization
• Jazz Jackson Vesely, TFL Administrator, President of Impact Gold organization
• Krista Stoker, Founder of S2 Breakthrough and Head Coach of Extreme Elite 18U 
• Ashlie Rowley, President and Founder of Colorado Softball Academy
• Dena Tyson Slye, Head Coach of the Corona Angels Slye 

The main goal of the selection process is to afford consistent representation at each PAC meeting. The national PAC will have diversity in geographical location, club team, and Alliance member league. The Oversight Committee will review all applications and select committee members for each respective season. 

• The application for the 2024 Season is open October 23 to November 27th 
• Applicants must be registered members of the Alliance Fastpitch 
• Applicants must be a current high school junior or seniors
