Katelynn Knight is a standout catcher and third baseman for the Oklahoma Athletics 18 Madden/Davis, competing in the Super division of the Central Fastpitch League. Graduating in 2026, Katelynn has already made a significant impact on the field and is proudly committed to the University of Missouri. With her left-handed bat and right-handed throws, she brings a dynamic presence to every game.
Katelynn’s playing style is defined by her athleticism and keen situational awareness. Her defensive identity as a catcher is marked by advanced reads and exceptional arm strength, allowing her to control the game from behind the plate. Offensively, Katelynn demonstrates impressive plate discipline, capitalizing on opportunities to drive in runs. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT COLLEGE?
I chose Mizzou because that’s what culture is. Mizzou embodied everything about culture and the moment I stepped on campus I was in love. Coach Anderson has built something special and I’m very excited to play for her next year!
FAVORITE HOBBY/HOBBIES WHEN NOT PLAYING SOFTBALL?
I love hanging with friends, watching Netflix and playing basketball

Reese Atwood, I want to be like her. I want to lead like her, catch like her and hit like her. She really is the big three and you don’t find many of those!
