Meet Alexa Iwema, a dynamic shortstop and outfielder for the Indiana Magic Gold Bennett/Goddard, competing in the Heart of America Fastpitch League's Super division. As a member of the class of 2026, Alexa is committed to Indiana University, showcasing her readiness for the next level of competition.
With a left-handed bat and a right-handed throw, Alexa combines her athleticism and instincts to excel defensively, displaying impressive range and advanced reads on the field. Her competitive approach at the plate, complemented by strong plate discipline, allows her to make impactful contributions to her team. As she continues to refine her skills in the travel softball circuit, Alexa's versatility positions her as a formidable player in any lineup.
Recently recognized as the PCFL Player of the Month in May of 2025, Alexa's performance reflects her dedication and talent. Additionally, she earned a spot on the Player Advisory Committee in February of 2026, highlighting her leadership and commitment to the sport. With her ongoing development and commitment to excellence, Alexa is poised for a bright future in college softball and beyond.
