Meet Sadie Burroughs, a dynamic shortstop and second baseman for FC Select Rico/Brashear 18u, competing in the Super division of the Pacific Coast Fastpitch League. Graduating in 2027, Sadie has already made a name for herself in the fastpitch community and recently committed to continue her athletic journey at Duke University.
Sadie showcases a blend of agility and power, making her a formidable presence on the field. Her defensive instincts and range allow her to make critical plays at shortstop, while her strong arm consistently proves to be an asset. At the plate, she demonstrates impressive plate discipline and situational awareness, driving in runs when it matters most. The nTangible Clutch Certified 750+ award was given to Sadie in February of 2026, highlighting her mental toughness and competitive edge on the diamond.
In the travel environment, Sadie has honed her skills against top-tier competition, preparing her for the challenges of collegiate softball.
