MOST MEMORABLE SOFTBALL MOMENT?

Winning a high school state championship in 2025.

MY STORY

A few options:
-I grew up playing baseball with my brother & some of his current teammates
-I first went through the recruiting process for only volleyball and was committed to play college volleyball then after my 2nd summer tournament (in 2025) decided I would probably go further and as my parents always said "my ceiling is higher in softball" so I took a chance & gave up my vb scholarship to pursue softball. In high school, in my "spare time" I showed cows.

WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR LEGACY TO BE IN SOFTBALL?

I want my legacy to be that I competed hard, had a strong will to win, and was someone you never wanted to pitch to. I hope people remember me as a great teammate who brought energy to the field, made the people around me better, and truly loved the game. I also hope younger girls look at me the same way I looked up to older players growing up — someone who worked hard, included others, had fun, and gave everything they had every time they played.

FUN FAMILY FACTS

Both my parents were college athletes, they played at McNeese State University. My mom was a 4 time All-Conference player and my dad was a pitcher at McNeese, mostly in the closer role. My mom was my baseball & softball travel coach & my dad has always been my hitting coach. My 16 yr old brother, Riggins, and I have always been competitive with each other, growing up he always hit way more homeruns than me, and I never thought I'd catch up, but I've got the lead right now-haha! He plays both baseball & football in high school.

WHAT COLLEGE ARE YOU COMMITTED/SIGNED TO?

signed-The University of Texas at Austin

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT COLLEGE?

On my visit, I sat in the Texas dugout and watched the current players’ practice; the culture, the energy, the competitiveness and the passion they all had to improve their game-this IS ME! I want to be in this type of environment every day, I love to compete! My dream has always been to play on the biggest stage possible, so to join the program of the defending National Champions with this coaching staff, it’s all surreal and I’m so thankful for this opportunity! I
can’t wait to become part of the winning tradition and make my mark. Let’s be honest,
everything is bigger and better in Texas! #Hookem

FAVORITE HOBBY/HOBBIES WHEN NOT PLAYING SOFTBALL?

go boating & hang with my friends & sleep!

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY NIL DEAL, WHAT COMPANY (OR COMPANIES) WOULD YOU WANT TO SPONSOR YOU?

Nike, Vuori, or really any athletic clothing brands

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE SOFTBALL PLAYER?

My favorite softball player is Lakeyn Fontenot Bolfing. She played travel ball and high school softball for my mom for years before going on to play at McNeese State University. She’s always been like an older sister to me. Growing up, she and so many of the girls my mom coached always included me, helped me with my softball skills, and let me tag along on bus trips and around the field when I was little. I’m still really close with Lakeyn today. She comes to all my games, and now her daughter, Brett, comes to watch me play too, which is really cool because it reminds me of how I used to watch her play. She’s also the reason I got into showing cows — she did it first and now even helps me with mine.

IS THERE AN ATHLETE YOU TRY TO MODEL YOUR GAME AFTER?

One athlete I really try to emulate is Leanne Goode from the University of Texas. She seems to have a really good balance of being serious and competitive while still keeping the game light and fun. I admire the way she competes with confidence and intensity but still looks like she genuinely enjoys playing. That’s something I try to model in my own game — competing hard, staying mentally tough, and bringing energy while still having fun with my teammates.
