Meet Cassidy Ott, a dedicated catcher for the Santa Fe Inferno Nowling 18u in the Southeast Fastpitch League's Super division. Graduating in 2027, she has already established herself as a formidable presence on the field, showcasing her versatility as both a catcher and an outfielder. With a right-handed batting and throwing style, Cassidy's athleticism and instincts set her apart in competitive environments.

Her playing style is characterized by a fierce competitive approach and advanced situational awareness. Known for her exceptional arm strength, Cassidy has consistently demonstrated impressive defensive range behind the plate, making advanced reads that keep opponents on their toes. Offensively, she combines plate discipline with gap coverage, allowing her to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Recognized for her talent, Cassidy was honored as the SEFL Player of the Month in January of 2024, showcasing her outstanding performance during the season. Furthermore, her achievements include the AFCS Lightning Arm award in 2025, a testament to her impressive overhand velocity, as well as membership in the 70 mph OH Velo Club, awarded to athletes who exceed a 70 mph throwing speed.
