GET TO KNOW HER...
MOST MEMORABLE SOFTBALL MOMENT?
Playing in the state tournament with my high school softball team. It’s so special playing with the girls that I grew up with in front of a crowd full of family and friends. It’s also special because I get to play on Kentucky’s field where I will be next season.
MY STORY
Both of my sisters would take me in the backyard and throw balls at me as hard as they could. They are part of the reason I am tough and competitive.
WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR LEGACY TO BE IN SOFTBALL?
I want my legacy to be remembered as someone who played hard and never settled. I also want to impact the younger generation and show them how fun Softball really is, but it’s not who you are.
FUN FAMILY FACTS
My sister softball played at Western Kentucky for three years.
WHAT COLLEGE ARE YOU COMMITTED/SIGNED TO?
University of Kentucky
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT COLLEGE?
It’s from my home state and I can represent them at the next level and it’s also close to my family. I grew up watching them play and it was always my dream playing there. I also have a great connection with the coaching staff and they made it feel like home.
FAVORITE HOBBY/HOBBIES WHEN NOT PLAYING SOFTBALL?
Shopping and spending time with family and friends.
IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY NIL DEAL, WHAT COMPANY (OR COMPANIES) WOULD YOU WANT TO SPONSOR YOU?
Chick-fil-a, Lululemon, Nike
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE SOFTBALL PLAYER?
One of my favorite softball players was Jada Coleman because of the intensity she brought to the game and her belief and God being the reason for everything she’s accomplished. I remember watching her and Alyssa Brito pray over each other during their walk off, win against Florida a few years ago.
IS THERE AN ATHLETE YOU TRY TO MODEL YOUR GAME AFTER?
growing up, it was my older sister because I would go to all of her tournaments and see the behind-the-scenes of what it took to play at the next level.
